Technicolor, a global leader in visual effects and creative technology, envisioned a space that reflects its forward-thinking culture and collaborative spirit. The objective was to design an environment that enhances innovation, inspires creativity, and supports both focused and team-based work across diverse departments including animation, post-production, and executive functions.
This project involved the transformation of an existing commercial space into a high-performance, agile workspace equipped with state-of-the-art AV solutions and a strong visual identity.
Design Concept
The design for Technicolor draws inspiration from the brand’s heritage in cinema and digital storytelling — reimagined through a futuristic lens. At its core, the space embodies “dynamic creativity within a structured framework.”
Color in Motion: A bold, kinetic color palette inspired by Technicolor’s legacy punctuates the interiors, using gradients and lighting to simulate movement and transition.
Framed Perspectives: Structural frames and portals mimic camera viewfinders, creating theatrical, layered views throughout the space.
Collaboration Zones: Modular layouts and acoustic partitions support fluid team interaction while maintaining clarity of function.
Contrast of Light & Shadow: Reflecting cinematic depth, lighting design balances high-contrast scenes with soft, ambient textures across different zones.
